Renren Trading and Construction Services, the contractor for the RI subproject, started the rehabilitation of the access road on November 28, 2019, and completed it on November 30, 2020, a week prior to the turnover. To confirm the completion, a final inspection or validation of the access road rehabilitation project was conducted the day after its completion.

The turnover ceremony was executed and memorialized through the unveiling of the monument and was followed by short yet meaningful messages of gratitude by PENRO Lucman, Vice Mayor Sumandar, Vice Governor Adiong, PPMO Focal Person Papandayan, Barangay Chairmen of Paling and Mamaanun, and TEO Alonto.

But the speech that became a highlight during the ceremony was that of the contractor’s. He fully emphasized the importance of dedication and perseverance in one’s work, to quote, “when you are making something, start it with dedication, do it strongly in the middle, and finish it with love.”

The ceremony was formally ended with Engineer Sanny Alonto’s closing remarks and then followed by photo documentation of the officials and staff at the monument.
